I’m Will Hollis, a mobile DJ specializing in events, weddings, parties, and more. I play all genres of music, and I love DJing an eclectic mix of music… Motown, disco, hip-hop, indie, pop, electronic, funk, soul, house, country, latin… You name it, I can probably incorporate it into my mix!
I started DJing because I LOVE dancing. I always take requests at any event I play. I want every guest to have as much fun as I do, so I will do everything in my power to incorporate your favorite songs into the set. (I also will join everyone on the dance floor as often as possible!)

Where are you located?
I live in Austin, TX.
How early do you arrive?
I always arrive at least 1 hour before my contracted time to set up and test sound levels. This can always be adjusted depending on what is needed for your event.
What if we want to continue the dance party after the contracted time?
I don’t book more than one event in an evening, so the party can continue for as long as you like! Just let me know if you want to continue and you can book me for additional 30 minute increments.
What is some of your favorite music?
Some of my favorite bands/artists include LCD Soundsystem, CHVRCHES, Maggie Rogers, Sylvan Esso, and Daft Punk. Some of my favorite music to dance to is Motown, Disco, and Indie/Electronic.
I also love discovering new music, and create a Song of the Day playlist every year. Each day, I add a song that was released in the last few months.
What is some of your favorite music to play as a DJ?
I’m a people pleaser, so I try to always take requests when I DJ. I love an eclectic mix. I like to play music that the crowd knows and loves, and once they get moving, introduce similar songs they might not know but have similar vibes. Personally, I don’t think a dance party is complete without a little Earth, Wind & Fire, Daft Punk, and LCD Soundsystem.
Can we make requests/give you a list of songs to play?
Absolutely! If you give me a list ahead of time, then I can absolutely incorporate the songs into my set. I always take requests at any event and will try to work the songs in if I have the songs in my inventory or have a solid wifi connection.
Can we give you a do-not-play list?
Absolutely! I have no problem omitting songs. We all have those songs that make us cringe or we’ve heard just way too many times.
